Ugh. The days, they are a' gruelin'
"The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long - and you have burned so very, very brightly." -- Tyrell Eldon to Roy Batty, Blade Runner
Yeah, I know that feeling. I have been burning brightly for 48 hours now. I've been stressed out with very little sleep, Kouryou-chan isn't doing well because Yamaraashi-chan isn't here this week so she keeps sneaking into our bed in the middle of the night. Today, I was so tired I had three Cokes just to keep running, and now my stomach is telling me that I'm going to pay for it. Work is ramping up right to the end of a delivery and I've been putting in ten hours days of breakless, endless repairs. I've had no time for work-related side projects

In the past two days I've written another 2,000 words in Nymphs in November, so I'm finally finishing that story, and 3,888 words in Chapter Two of the Princess Jera story. I'm not sure how that's going to turn out, but there are some intriguing possibilities. Obviously, she can't be killed because she appears in the sequel (to which this is technically a prequel to an already written piece, I guess). The notion that I've written an average of 1,500 words on each leg of my commute kinda makes me nervous, and reading the Jera story I realized just how weak my descriptions of things are. It will definitely require a re-write to get texture and sense just right.
